May 3, 2016 - Great Grapefruit on the nose nice hints of lemon and guava. The oak from the barrel mellowed it so not a load of acid and a feel of creaminess.

March 24, 2015 - Very light yellow, transparent with no sediment and no bubbles. Dry white wine with mild nose of butter, grass, flint and and cat pee. Medium legs. Mild palate of butter, egg yolk, lemon and honey. Light viscosity, little acidity. Short floral finish, reminiscent of roses or daisies.

August 7, 2014 - Pretty typical sauv blanc from california - grapefruit, chalk, citrus, orange zest, and some light spice on the nose, bright acid and medium bodied. Not much of a finish. Not a bad SB, but nothing to write home about either. It did have a slight smell of feet, kind of like some white rhone blends, which was odd.

March 23, 2014 - Paired with chicken w/ roasted lemons, capers, and olives. Paired perfectly! Great food wine.

Nose: green apple and peach when first opened, later revealed tropical fruit (perhaps guava?).

Taste: Citrus (especially brought forward with the lemon in the food), lots of very distinct tropical fruit, maybe a little under-ripe (not in a bad way).

July 24, 2013 - Fragrant nose of grapefruit, lemon blossom and guava. Medium bodied, elegant with a broad fruit intensity balanced by crisp acidity and notes of wet rocks on the finish. It's interesting to note that this wine has been 10% barrel fermented. I would recommend to let it sit 15min out of the fridge before serving.
