August 23, 2018 - Nice, full bodied light wine but not complex. Good palate, initially a very interesting if not unique nose but unfortunately this seems to blow off and then the nose become almost unremarkable. I don't think it is worth the full price but it is worthwhile at the sale price.

October 7, 2016 - What a pleasure. Smooth and nuanced. Berry and spice on nose and palate. Yum!

June 4, 2014 - Rhone Rangers DC (Longview Gallery - Washington, DC): Nose: Ripe berries, earth, some smoke and rose notes. Rich but still quite silky, with some nice sweet herbal components. Includes 13% Syrah.

April 6, 2014 - 2014 Rhone Rangers Grand Tasting: Brilliant dark ruby color with appealing cherry, strawberry and floral aromas. On the palate, it's elegant and well structured with cherry, strawberry, and spice flavors. Long finish.

August 15, 2013 - Day 1 - Central Coast Tastings (Central Coast - CA): I was impressed with this wine's elegance and balance...not two descriptors you typically look for with Central Coast grenache. This did have really spicy, fresh red berries on the palate with some underbrush and herbs. Good stuff.

July 3, 2013 - At the tasting room in Los Olivos.

Aromatic and fruit forward. Spicy grenache, floral, anise, earthy mid palate. Very nice
