February 12, 2019 - Good, but vertical compared to 2012, this one lost

  • NoWineWiz Likes this wine: 88 points

April 1, 2018 - Well balanced black & red berries, fresh earth and a little black tea. Medium finish, soft tannins.

September 9, 2017 - A clear dark purple. Clean nose of blackberry and spice. Was even better the second night.

September 7, 2017 - Nice red fruit nose with oak barrel notes as well. Smooth and creamy cherry/raspberry fruit greets you up front and lingers nicely on a medium long finish, but not much else is there as no secondary elements are present in this wine, fairly one note, but a delicious one. As the back label says, best enjoyed 4-5 years after bottling in 2012, which is now. Drink up soon for best enjoyment.

Generically fruity, no nuance, little depth. Just ok. Drink up, age will not be kind. I hate points but anyone saying 90+ is insane.
