October 30, 2021 - (Initial taste right out of bottle: very earthy, graphite fragrance followed by fresh cherries. Nectarine sour.)

Decanted 1.5 hr. Balanced fragrance composed of (very, forward) earthy & graphite, (weaker notes of) bananas, cherries, honeycomb. Medium dry, light body, light tannins, very acidic. Burning cherries on finish.

October 20, 2021 - First we let him breathe in decanter for 1.5h. After that it has been perfectly opening and gently changing for about two hours we tasted it. It has outstanding, opulent, elegant, complex nose. Could not stop sniffing its aromas for 10 minutes before trying to taste it. On the nose it had great mix of barnyard, cows, berries, dried berries, espresso, chocolate, rose hip, quince, leather and slight menthol. After those great 10 minutes I finally decided to taste it. Wine had no attack. It was very gentle and it took about one hour for me to really get to its great flavor. Wine had smooth pleasing texture, you have to drink it slowly. Moderate sugars and acidity, soft fully developed tannins, I was able to clearly distinguish them only after 3h. Its taste was full of chocolate, coffee, red berries, dried fruits, eucalyptus, gooseberry jam. I believe it is in its primes now.

March 28, 2019 - Spicy taste. Taut. Still young. Long finish. Need more time in bottle.

February 24, 2017 - Pronounced nose of cassis, blueberry, caramel even, very slight herbal component, touch of white pepper. meaty. More restrained on the palate than the nose. Medium acid, high tannin. Coffee, charcoal in the aftertaste. Still very tight but will approachable relatively young - I'd say it will be drinking very well in another 5-6 years.
