April 11, 2016 - A finely structured white except the stone and subtle flavors did not allow for much pleasure in the glass.

June 20, 2015 - Typical bouquet of high quality GV. The palate provides the class and elegance to this wine. The piercing attack imparts an impression of austerity, counteracted by a sophisticated, mouth-coating middle of considerable range and depth. The same gritty feel carries through the back and strengthens on the finish. Overall, the wine strengthens from front to back, changing inflection beautifully. Medium plus to high acid, elegance draping and sturdy frame.

December 13, 2014 - Not magic like Rudi Rieslings I've had. Tart with yellow apple. Burly on the tongue. OK with Thai.

November 15, 2014 - Man I love finding a good GV. Lots of citrus, pith, toasted sesame seeds a little blocky in style like a white rhone but totally different wine. Generious peach, pear and pit fruits surrounded by a dry frame. Really enjoyed!

October 27, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and presence of legs. The nos is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of rocket, white pepper, lemon peel and hints of fresh peaches. The wine is off-dry in the mouth with a medium(+) acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium body. It has medium(+) intensity flavours of rocket, white pepper, lemon peel and hints of fresh peaches. The finish is medium(+).

It is a very good quality wine. It has a nice flavour concentration well-balanced by the acidity and a quite decent finish. However a better example of this style would be more complex. Can drink now, but it has enough acidity and flavour concentration to develop some more complex tertiary aromas over the next 2-3 years.

February 5, 2014 - Crisp, stony, green vegetable nuances. A little tart and a little too hot at the same time, unless you drink this wine quite cold. We put this bottle out in the snow twice before we finished the bottle and our dinner. A good pairing with pan fried tilapia with a citrus glaze, couscous, and asparagus drizzled with parmigiano and balsamic.
