September 2, 2020 - This needs time to open up. Decanted in wide body decanter. Persistence of alcohol on the nose and palate first 30 mins. Black cherry, cocoa, black olive, Dutch liquorice. Really came alive in third hour with some depth and complexity. More spice and dried herb notes. I’m burying our last bottle for 4-5 more years.

November 10, 2019 - At peak maturity. Shows BC Cabernet at its best - could age another 10 years

October 26, 2019 - Class in a bottle. Once again Bill Eggert produced a excellent wine (although not very cheap!). This is currently drinking very nicely, with great balance and a lengthy finish. Still have a 2011 of the same cuvée. Drink now or hold for 3-5 years.

November 12, 2017 - I hope Canoehead will add great notes for this.
Personally, I recall ripe blackberry, black currant and very jammy. I'd have guessed a Mollydooker! Very long finish. We had this blind with the Wrath and I found them similar. If it came down to a choice, the Wrath at about $50 less would be a no-brainer. Very good wine and I congratulate Bill. It was preferred to a 2004 Dunn Howell Mountain believe it or not.

March 12, 2014 - Clear dark purple in color. Clean nose of black fruit and vanilla. Dry, med acidity, med+ body, smooth tannis, big black fruit, vanilla, and spice on palate. Nice finish. Wow, this is a great wine. It is expensive, but truly is a comparable red to hotter climates. This wine will change your ideas of BC reds. Once again Bill sets the bar for other BC winemakers.
