June 26, 2021 - Wow. Lots to like here. Crazy good nose. Big mouthfeel with tiers of red fruits, strawberry cherry ect, and layers of complex spices. Balanced with a decent finish. Really happy at 10 years out and for the qpr.
June 5, 2021 - Look: deep garnet; medium-slow legs
Nose: cherry cola, forest floor, clove, rhubarb
Palate: Cherry cola, forest floor, tree bark; long finish of pepper, rhubarb, and clove; dry; medium- body; medium+ acidity; low- tannin
Overall: This is in a great place nice now, especially with the forest floor nicely complementing the cherry cola. Tannins are completely integrated, but the acidity is still there. Great wine.
April 21, 2021 - In a good spot. Easy drinking with velvety lush mouth feel balanced by acidity on mid palette. Lots of ripe dark red fruits.
June 16, 2020 - Dark red. Complex - red fruits. minerals, spices - and silky finish. Very nice.
February 6, 2020 - 9 years in and this wine is pretty nice if still a little full bodied. But lots of that overt fruit forwardness has dismissed. Still a med to full bodied wine with a highly polished silky texture. Lots of red and black cherry with raspberry. Tons of stoney, gravelly, minerally aspects to the wine. Finishes with some tingly spice, cola and black licorice. For those of you with more bottles in the cellar, feel free to pull a cork soon.

November 27, 2016 - Medium ruby color. Good herbal nose. Silky with a long finish. Well balanced. Luscious cherry, citrus, and hints of pepper. Classic and very good cal Pinot.
January 15, 2016 - PnP. nose of tart strawberry and a hint of cranberry leaps from the glass. On the palate, this is a great mixture of red fruit (strawberry, cranberry) with some pine and earth.
October 24, 2015 - A little disappointed in this one. A good bit of high-pitched red fruit but too much sweetness - the sweetness overpowers the red fruit that I like. Not sure that there is room for improvement as I fear the fruit will continue to fade relative to the sweetness.
October 2, 2015 - This is drinking just about perfectly right now....smooth, integrated, delicious. I enjoy Sojourn wines so much.........
