  January 17, 2015 - A: dried rose petals, cherry jello
  T: Great weight to it, lovely red and black fruit. The bright cherry fruit of the Sangiovese on the uptake finishes smoothly into black cabernet fruit followed by great medium acid on the finish. Very nice on its own and with food.

  October 24, 2014 - Lot of great lush fruit and acidity to give it body along with the rustic notes to lend it that indelible old world character. Nose full of pipe smoke and leather, the whole thing laden with cherry. Lot of great woody, earthy, aromas creeping through. The palate unfortunately loses a lot of complexity but still tannic and well balanced. Good wine for the price though?

  March 14, 2014 - Nice overall. Grass and leather notes. Nice fruit and full flavor. Good, especially for the price but not great. I'd buy it again.
