November 22, 2023 - On the nose grassy notes, ripe fruit, herbs, smoke, minerality. Very complex and layered on the palate - good acidity, very dense and quite ripe. The alcohol is noticeable, but not overpowering. Super intense and very persistent finish. Slowly drink up. 93-95

June 6, 2023 - Außergewöhnlicher SB. Glaskorken, wenig von der typischen Exotik und Frucht, dafür aber umso mehr Salz & Terroir. Würde ich blind nicht auf Sauvignon Blanc tippen. Der Zieregg steht auch immer noch wie geladen im Anschlag, das ist schon krass für 12 Jahre in der Flasche. Sehe ihn aktuell nicht als einfachen Spaßmacher, sondern hochwertigen Essensbegleiter für z.B. gegrillte Wachteln. Nächste Flasche 2027.

June 6, 2021 - Insensitives, dichtes Goldgelb. Druckvolle gelbe Frucht in der Nase, Pfirsich, Mirabelle, etwas Vanille. Am Gaumen eine Aromenexplosion. Wieder gelbfruchtig aber auch etwas schwarze Johannisbeere, die auch tiefe, schwarze Aromen einbringt. Tänzelnde, frische Säure, der Wein wirkt fast als hätte er etwas Restkohlensäure. Ein endloses mineralisches Finale. Ein Weltklassewein.

May 20, 2021 - (SYP) - my first Austrian SB. The wine uses a glass stopper instead of cork. Perfumed, spicy and lemony. Good intensity and concentration with rather high acidity. I can feel the high alcohol content on the palate, but it isn’t unpleasant at all.
