February 11, 2020 - Last btl of this. Some variation as this one tastes fresher and rounder than the one a few months ago. Classically made and well-proportioned sangio. I have always liked del Cerro's wines.
November 13, 2019 - I have always enjoyed cel Cerro's VNdMs and this is no exception. Restrained black cherry, tobacco, green peppercorns, and wet asphalt. It is true that this is fading and the midsection is a bit hollow and dried out. EtOH is tasting a bit hot. Drink up.
November 9, 2018 - Bit over the top and declining. No tannins or acidity to speak of and a bit thin in the middle and end. Light red fruits, black pepper and a bit of oak. Still worked well with a pizza but I wouldn't pair it with a heavier dish.
December 28, 2016 - Maybe already a bit over the peak...
November 5, 2016 - GR 3B
November 22, 2015 - I like this a lot. Ready to drink.
November 16, 2015 - This is really a great vintage and a very good wine. Already had a few ones (and many to go). No disappointment there.
