September 4, 2018 - Great. Rich, smooth, complex. Great on open... even better on day 2. Med-strong nose. Would absolutely buy more at $20 or less.
August 5, 2018 - Medium garnet with moderate clearing. Medium(+) aromas of cherry/ tobacco/ menthol/ herbal - just classic Sangiovese IMO. Medium palate of red fruit. Medium tannins and medium(+) acidity. Medium finish. Fantastic food wine.
December 9, 2017 - More red fruit coming when opened. After a day tobacco and chocolate.
August 26, 2017 - Drank at a dinner party so going by a mental note. Good Sangiovese flavors of cherry and strawberry, with a good amount of earthiness. Strong perfume with soft, easy tannins typical of prugnolo gentile. Would buy again.
July 1, 2017 - Ripe fruit, expressive nose. The 14% alcohol is hardly noticeable; simple, but very harmonious and easy to drink.
June 29, 2017 - Medium dark ruby with mild bricking. Medium aromas of sweet/black cherry with tobacco/ herbal secondary. Medium palate of red fruit, with nice lingering finish. Medium tannins and nice acidity. Uncomplicated - nice food wine though.

January 27, 2017 - Very nice, with loads of cherry fruit, plum, a bit of vanilla and some fuzzy tannins in the finish. Not as earthy as other Vino Nobiles. Fantastic with roast chicken.
