October 13, 2021 - At 10 years this is drinking beautifully. Mineral, graphite, and blackberry. Upfront fruit but definitely not one dimensional. Seems like it has a good amount of life left. Moderate tannins. But this is drinking in a good place right now. Drink now-2026.

December 25, 2020 - This was a fantastic Syrah that I shared with inner circle family on a small Covid-Christmas gathering. Opened but not decanted 3 hours before dinner of filet done on a smoker. The rustic olive tapenade and dark smoky fruit paired perfectly with the smoked beef. The wine was classic old world style and was thoroughly enjoyed from magnum by all. Love the large format bottles for holiday gatherings.
