April 13, 2018 - Medium purple with a touch of garnet. Lovely bouquet of fruit, spice and earthy tones. Blackberry and cassis with plenty of acid. Will decant the rest.

September 29, 2017 - I can't believe this wine was $7. Drinks way above its price point. Lots of fruit and very tasty.

February 3, 2017 - very nice wine, lots of taste and strenght!

January 26, 2017 - Wonderful deep red, with dark fruits and a hint of licorice on the nose. The black licorice flavor really jumps out and fills the palate, with a hint of white pepper. Medium-long finish. Very nice wine and great value.

May 7, 2016 - This stuff never fails, especially for the price (about $9). It's a very pleasing Grenache. Fairly light-bodied, not particularly spicy but somewhat. Tastes very good....good grapes.

Goes very well with chicken, in my experience, if you're looking for a red to drink with the white bird. It can stand up to nice sauce with it, too.
