November 7, 2020 - Nose is mostly minerals, petrol, and dried thyme.
Palate is velvet cherry, earth, garden herbs, leather, and slight white pepper. Finish is medium long with good grip and more velvet cherry fruit and earth.
Quite tasty and recommended. Great QPR. No need to hold longer. If I had another bottle I would drink within a year. Drink now -2023
November 19, 2019 - Cherries, currants, pastille, and not a thing to dislike. Amazingly well made for such a modestly priced, huge production wine, and seemingly in prime form a decade later. What more can you ask for?
June 9, 2019 - My last bottle and it was a smasher. Almost black in the glass, exploding fruit, leather, spice and a very long, relatively sweet finish. Clearly the best bottle from the whole lot, most character. Some variation detected, some bottles tasted a bit “commercial”.
February 16, 2019 - Maybe gone past it...although has been cellared well for last 5 years since I purchased. After finish is of strong cocoa, dark chocolate with a long finish. I don’t like it even though I normally love everything by Guigal

January 24, 2019 - Wonderfull! Fully mature, dark, great nose, cherry, herbal, spicy. Powerfull and long. Needed half an hour to open up. Drink this in the next 1-2 years.
June 9, 2018 - On day 1 i found this CdP a bit commercial, drinking very smoothly, bit sweet and good fruit. On day 2 considerably better, with the fruit really exploding out of the glass. This is going very strong.
April 30, 2018 - Mörkt blåröd i färgen.
Doften ger hela kryddträdgården och direkt efter kork är den väldigt explosiv och energiskt. Senare lite cigarr, en hel del körsbär i bra mognadsfas men också en hög syra och man anar alkohol.
Smaken ger första timmen en mer syltig touch, men efter hand kommer syra tillbaka. Körsbär och mer av unga röda bär men också knapphändig mogna björnbär. Slånbär också. Kryddigt. En strävhet bakom detta faktiskt.
Inte alls oäven - men inte fantastisk.
Vet att det är en något varmare årgång, och att det anses vara inom drickfönstret men jag tror att det är för tidigt. Jag har inte många flaskor men väntar fem år med nästa.
March 10, 2018 - Dark ruby, fresh dark fruit, some sweet and spice. Black berries, liquorice, oak. Mature, rounded tannins. Had with grouce.
February 14, 2018 - 2e bouteille dans la dernière année : nez de vieille barrique, fraise confit, épices, vieux cuir. En bouche : sensation d'umami, gras, saveur de cassonade, tanins encore présent, finale moyenne...vieux grenache typique. Délicieux maintenant ! 91+
