June 30, 2023 - Coravin fun - Bordeaux (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Slightly meaty umami notes accompany red over black hued fruits, toast, biscuit notes and, with time, the fruit gets more jubey. The jubey note translates to the palate offering fruit generosity, fresh acidity, tannins are drying but quite silky textured, a little toast and biscuit joins on the finish, balanced, yum

December 8, 2022 - Nice, correct, petite chateau Bordeaux from a "lesser" but somewhat classic vintage. These are quite correct, and were shockingly cheap, but I seldom find myself wanting them anymore. That is on me, however, and not a knock on the wine. Feels like a good choice for a roast chicken.
December 3, 2022 - Where you’d expect it to be at 10 years, entering its drinking window. Still primary bramble fruit, soft and easy - vintage is a lightish one. Drink,or keep.
November 29, 2022 - It is over two years since I posted a note for the wine, and I wanted to emphasise that this is still delivering at the top of its game. Along with Bernadotte, it is my cru bourgeois of choice for everyday drinking, and to be honest puts a lot of prestigious second wines to shame at a fraction of the price. At 10 years of age this now can be popped and poured and is showing mature integrated notes and good depth and balance. This is just such exceptional value, ( I bought 15 cases for £12 a bottle tax and duty included, ).
June 29, 2022 - Pretty good, balanced and smooth; fully integrated; lost a bit of fruit; but just tasted a bit past it; may just be this bottle; but I’m interested to see what the others will be like.

January 11, 2022 - Coravin fun - Senejac mini-vertical (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Wild blackcurrant over plums with cream, cedar, sweet spice, caramel in support, smells a little dilute but also has a jubey element with some fruit tea. Medium plus intensity acidity, again slightly dilute but with that jubey fruit note and a little creaminess. Tannins are drying, quite floury textured, all persist long in a slightly muted fashion. Balanced, lightweight but nice.
November 8, 2021 - Ordentlicher Medoc, absolut preiswert, Adstringenz, schwarze Frucht, gute Dichte, etwas (freundlich) abweisend. Für 12,50 kann man heute glücklich sein, sowas zu kriegen.
