January 12, 2021 - Red fruits, lots of gnarly tannins, long finish, lots going on.
June 25, 2015 - medium legs, dark fruit flavors, well balanced acid, nose has hint of chocolate, prune and light oak. Paired well with spicy Thai food!
August 30, 2014 - Decent merlot blend, astringent nose on first opening that mellows to berry after some air. Still not getting a high alcohol burn as noted earlier. Enjoyed this very much.
August 23, 2014 - The wine has a deep purple color. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, petrol, blackberry and bell pepper. It tastes like black currant (cassis), cherry and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has a smooth texture. The wine has a medium/long finish. The wine has low acidity. This wine should drink well for the next 5-8 years.
July 5, 2014 - Great Merlot blend. Overpriced but still a very nice Napa wine in a traditional style.
November 28, 2013 - Light berry nose with a little spice thrown in. Taste of cherry and anise. Not getting high alcohol like previous taster. Actually very nice.
May 20, 2013 - WORST BUY!
It starts great with so red flowers and spice with clove in rich fruit. But then the wine is ruined by burning alcohol that tore at the inside of my mouth. Actively unpleasant.
