July 18, 2020 - Still got it. Becoming very earthy. Tobacco, forest floor, but still enough fruit to carry it through. Blind I might think pinot noir. Really enjoyable.
April 3, 2020 - Drink up
May 30, 2015 - Not as good as 2009. Maybe it entered a dumb phase. Lacked integration on all levels. Curiously strange. One of two bottles suffered from TCA.
February 28, 2015 - Dark purple; blackberry licorice and spice; medium tannins; relatively short finish. I opened the bottle yesterday and consumed approximately one cup last night and refrigerated over night allowing the bottle to warm to 62 degrees today. It tastes even better today.
November 30, 2014 - still young
September 21, 2014 - Deep purple color. Cherry cola and blackberry aromas. Dusty, restrained black fruit flavors. Moderate tannins. Long finish with bright acidity.
Color 5/5
Nose 7/10
Taste 16/20
Balance 8/10
Finish 4/5
September 17, 2014 - - Garnet color and aromas of blackberry and strawberry jam. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry and black currant with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a medium finish.
April 19, 2014 - PHMG WAG: Priorat (Casa Lyon): A little tighter and more tannic than the previous wine, it has more black fruit, spice/anise, damp earth, and tannins. Good QPR.
November 14, 2013 - No issue with the cork on this bottle. Very enjoyable Priorat with nicely integrated, but masculine tannins and a pleasant finish. Great QPR.
November 8, 2013 - Cork leaked some and wine had a bit of funky smell, but blew of after 30min. Nice balance and mid-lenght pleasant finish.
