December 19, 2023 - Day 3 after decanting. Stored under vacuum stopper.
Deeply coloured, purple/red, perhaps showing a hint of duskiness at the rim.
Nose is distinctively Rhone, very evolved, savoury.
Palate showing lovely evolution with that savoury tone overlaying black and red fruits. Good acidity and a little tannin adding structure but very well balanced. Finishes with bright acidity and dark fruits. Good length.
This is singing tonight.
One left, maybe try again in 2025? -

January 5, 2022 - Still quite darkly coloured. Nose is that leathery old Syrah nose. There's still good intensity to the palate but it's quite evolved now. There's great acidity which it takes a little bit of breathing to bring into balance with the fruit. Nice finish and a little length. Really enjoying the more evolved character of this tonight.

December 23, 2020 - Olive tapenade just kept getting more and more fresh as the bottle stayed open. A real food wine. Joyous and friendly.
