August 10, 2019 - Still nice fruit; light bodied. This bottle was past due though

August 2, 2018 - SpRhones at Borough (Borough, Mpls, MN): Light-medium red color. PNP, drank a glass over 30 minutes. Caramel nose, green, red fruits, vanilla, pepper. This was rather herbal on the palate with the red fruits and vanilla, and it picks up some roasted meat later on. I like the weight here, quite light and in a good way, but it is a bit more herbal than my preference.

March 21, 2017 - 3 years later and this wine is just singing, fruit is backing off a bit and a dusty leathery component is coming out. So balanced right now, very nice!

December 19, 2015 - Nose offers dusty strawberry and cherry aromas, pepper and some wafts of cedar making an occasional appearance. Light bodied flavors of strawberry, spice, cherry with a nice pepper accent on the mid palate, and red-fruited finish. Round tannins and balanced acidity, this is probably as good as new world Grenache can get.

February 8, 2015 - Very pale ruby. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, a touch medicinal… This is all about the fruit, lush red cherry and strawberry, almost confected, but in a very lightweight package. Rounded tannins and bright acidity round out the sweet, sappy finish. Not rating, as I almost sense that this may have seen too much heat in transit (I purchased on secondary market).

June 27, 2014 - Brutally young but light transparent red color. Nose was cool strawberry, cherry. Palate silky balanced red fruit mineral pretty long finish. Grace and power excellent bottle.

July 14, 2013 - Popped and poured with rib-eyes (cooked sous vide; served on arugula with a rosemary balsamic vinaigrette). Pale red color. Elegant but somewhat reserved nose of mainly red fruit. Great balance and texture on the palate. Expansive flavors of red fruit with some caramel mid-palate but no overt/clumsy oak. Great finish. One of the better US-made Grenache wines I've had.
