December 16, 2015 - Relatively straight forward and easy to drink. good balance, nice acidity. perhaps a bit like the whites, the early picking means one is left a bit short on the finish. perhaps this will resolve with more time in bottle.

August 8, 2015 - My second bottle (label is Pierre Boisson but I'm told it's the same wine). Unfortunately disappointing, dumb mute nose, some decent cherry fruit, second night opened. Sometimes the third night is the charm so I'll report back if this improves. Third night!!! Much better. I'm giving this bottle an 89, whereas the first one purchased about 9 months ago was outstanding, scoring 91-92. Are the 2010's closing down now? YES.

May 29, 2014 - A little more rustic and herbal than last time, but nonetheless very tasty. Seems like it is starting to shut down, so probably a good idea to drink soon or let it sit for 5 years.

December 28, 2013 - Fantastic young burg. Drinks well with and hour or so of air. Menthol, violets and berry preserve on the nose. Medium weighted, full of pinosity with little apparent oak influence. Well balanced with vibrant acidity. Blueberries and sour cherries on the palate. Good length and definition. Really impressive for its modest appellation. Has the structure to last long.

PS. I just noticed that my bottle has a Pierre Boisson label even though in my logs it says I bought a Boisson Vadot
