April 18, 2023 - Dinner at La Boheme with the Crew (Palo Alto): Powerful, unique combination of Syrah & Cabernet Sauvignon. Super clean bottle, long and e sharing. Excellent. Showing the complexity of age but not at all ‘aged’ notes.

April 18, 2023 - Dinner with the wine group (La Bohème, Palo Alto): Medium ruby, age-appropriate bricking; aromatic, aged Bordeaux character, red bell pepper, earthy, slight spice; palate is medium bodied, medium alcohol, medium-plus acidity, excellent mature red fruit, complex, great balance; finish is medium-plus length. Very nice, seems Cabernet dominant and competitive with a great Bordeaux at this age. 92
1-2 hours air: fabulous, continuing to improve with lovely red fruit and vibrancy, excellent complexity. 93

March 13, 2021 - Best bottle of the case so far. Just everything you want in an old Trevallon. Superb.

December 22, 2020 - First sip suggests that this is very comfortable as a ‘rhone vintage’ Trev — garrigue and olive on the nose. More Bordeaux-like on the palate, this is lovely, but starting to dry cf a bottle eight years ago, so I think time to drink up. ****
