April 12, 2023 - I’ve had the 1997 and 2001 of this wine and at this point the 2010 is not on the same level. This bottle was in good condition and had a 2 hour decant. Over dinner pretty consistent good but not great. I have 5 bottles left. Next bottle in three years?
March 23, 2023 - 1/2 glass via coravin. balance of the bottle the next day. colour is dark plum, clear, with bricking at edges. the nose is a little restrained but with air comes alive with cherry, tobacco, mint, wet leaves. palate is really lovely... soft on entry with a delayed sprig of acidity, an attractive slightly floral vegetal bitterness, sanguine, fully resolved and perfectly integrated tannin that firmly but unobtrusively wraps the close. finishes long with dried fruit and saline notes that hold for 30 seconds. excellent.
October 24, 2022 - Opened, poured half into a 375ml bottle, and enjoyed the balance. Tasted the half bottle over two days fllowing.
Dark purple color.
Nose offers some floral elements, sour cherry and hint of mushroom and tar.
Nice sour cherry and then dark cherry on the intro; tannins and acidity all in balance with the fruit. Shows that dark fruit profile as it sees more exposure to air.
Quality cork/
14.5% abv.
August 29, 2022 - Russk. AL brought to CDC at Maridos and put it in a line up of 3 Nebs. This was the winner and a WOTN. Feminine and ready. No off notes.
December 25, 2020 - Somewhat over the hill for this bottling. Showing some cooked fruits on the nose but relatively bright otherwise. Plummy with notes of figs and raisins along with dark cherry and cloves. Other than the nose this is pretty good.
This was stored well from purchase but seems to have been cooked somewhere before.
I would like to try an older vintage to compare as 2010 was a good vintage overall.
October 23, 2020 - Surprisingly dark with dense fruit and still seems young. A bit of licorice.
Certainly no chore to drink k but I'll wait a few years for my other bottle.

May 25, 2018 - Realmente um belo vinho com estrutura e acidez.. No início da janela para ser bebido. No entanto, pelo menos mais 5 anos de envelhecimento não fariam mal. Ótimo com penne com ragú de calabresa
April 9, 2018 - Have a few of these so I thought I'd check in. This is really a tale of two wines: on the first night this was soft, pretty, and quite approachable. A touch of wood rounds things out for a very refined package. On the second night, the tannins really came to the fore in a way they had not on night one, especially on the finish. But even still, while grippy they are not mean or tough. This is a really well-done mid-weight style of Barbaresco that I'm looking forward to trying again in 5-10 years.
March 31, 2018 - My prior tasting in May 2015 was underwhelming, with much plum and little complexity on the palate. Nearly three years later, this is drinking very well, with much balance and elegance, excellent acidity and not overly ripe fruit.
