  February 20, 2015 - This was a great bottle. Other bottles from a case have not shown this quality though. Rich, ripe fruit, some stoney mineral notes and a little touch of diesel. A little developed but still energetic fruit and acidity. Great quality for a basic wine.

  June 5, 2014 - Pale golden yellow colour. Intense nose of petrol and ripe yellow fruit. In the mouth vigorous with cracking acidity, good grip and concentration. Intense petrol and ripe fruit flavour. It may not be overly complex, but its concentration and fantastic length make this a very good experience. Also, it shows that even at the low end of Johannisberg's range, the Rieslings can age beautifully.

  May 23, 2014 - Nothing has changed in half a year. Copy paste of my new year's notes: Some development on the palate with rich, fat fruit. The acidity still brings freshness to wine and so are the salty mineral notes. In my opinion this wine drinks really well right now but there's no problem keeping it for another decade or so.
