August 5, 2020 - Textbook "en buland" as I remember it from years ago. Rich, a bit of oak, but balanced and interesting. Quite masculine style. This is an evergreen, and I don't recall tasting a Barraud wine that was thin or lacking balance. Not an exceptional year or exceptional en Buland, but this always drinks well above its pedigree. Personally I may have preferred this 2/3 years ago, but it is not going downhill in any way.

May 3, 2020 - This bottle showed well. Salted popcorn, light oak, almond, tart citrus and maybe some green apple. A nice mix of acidity and fruit. Ann liked it too.

January 26, 2019 - BYOB "High Altitude wines" - blind tasting (Sollentuna): Lovely oaky chardonnay nose, so very charming and lovely, when more cold, this was a tad bit bitter on the finish but then the acidity was also more fresh. A bit short finish, but I like it. I would drink it now though and not save for several years. Recommended.

January 25, 2019 - BYOB "High Altitude" (Sollentuna, Sweden): All out chardonnay, nicely oaked, wax, oily texture. No rush, will live on for another 3-4 years.

October 28, 2017 - Opulent but understated. Awfully likeable with notes of browned butter, smoky minerals, yellow fruit. Acidity is a little low but not disturbingly so.
