June 12, 2016 - Second Sunday Group: Valtellina (Neil's): Lots of red fruit here and a bit more acid than some of the others. Develops a subtle herbal/vegetal quality that I think I like. Loads of cherry fruit. Interesting.

November 12, 2014 - Casual bottles with the SLDS and associates: Blind. Plum, earth, iron and violets. Tannins provide some grippy, the fruit is fairly plush and it has mid length. Nice drinking.
October 8, 2014 - A winning combination of sweet strawberry, dusty cherry, white pepper and a long backbone of acidity. This bottle disappeared very quickly.
September 21, 2014 - Garnet clear with shades of pink, soon seduces with notes of strawberry and cherry.
In the mouth, the perfect balance between the fruity, the sour and salt.
Persistence very unusual for a "base", so if we want to call it, which makes the immediacy and pleasantness of its most effective weapons. Needless to declare its drinkability.
June 21, 2014 - I glasset hadde vi en frisk og ren vin fra Lombardia. Mursteinsrød vin med moderat intensitet på farge. Duften derimot var åpenbar. Deilige toner av villrose, diskret godteridisk og rene toner av jordbær. Smaksmessig bød vinen på søte kirsebær, toner av kirsebærstein og markjordbær. En delikat frisk og fruktig vin som balanserer godt mellom rene og søte bærtoner med flott friskhet. Selv om vinen hadde opplevd oksygen i 45 minutter i karafell, så tok det en stund før tonene av lakris også åpenbarte seg. God lengde med fine og faste tanniner i finish.

May 31, 2014 - A nice light expression of Nebiolo. Beautiful red in color. Red fruits on the palate without sharp tannins.

April 8, 2014 - {Vin Italy, 2014} Translucent garnet, silver edge. Sforzato-like nose. Intense entry, elegant textures. Finishes warm, simple.
