April 12, 2020 - Delicious. Last bottle. Excellent cellaring helped this last. Full bodied.

September 5, 2018 - Surprisingly good of its type. Not really my style but allowing for some over ripeness on the initial attack it had some balance and complexity which given the 15% alcohol is some achievement. I enjoyed it.

July 5, 2011 - Big and delicious Shiraz. Masquerades a bit; could be a cab on the nose and palate. Paired surprisingly well with tamales and black beans. Clear, deep, garnet color. Clean, deep intensity nose. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cassis, smoke, stewed black fruits, cracked pepper. Full-bodied on the palate, with low acid and mild tannins that have softened with bottle age. Flavor notes are well-balanced and match the nose. Long finish. Drink this now. No reason to wait.

September 14, 2007 - multi layered fruit bomb. tons on the nose and palate. Too bad it is the last bottle

April 4, 2007 - Real fruit bomb, tastes like blackcurrent cordial with smoky overtones, very big wine that probably needs food but would require somthing pretty robust to stand up to it
