Community Tasting Notes 1

October 9, 2017 - Evolved colour, dark brick. Lovely nose where everything seems to have come together. Some fruit still there, but it's rather evolved now with prune, roasted coffee, cocoa, leather, a mineral touch... On the palate it's a bit rustic and harsh at first but smoothens with air. A robust, fully-bodied, well made wine with personality. Good experience. Should pair well with a hearty dish from South-Western France, Duck Confit for example. Based on how well this showed I think it can age at least 3-4 more years.
