May 9, 2014 - Spanish Regional Tasting and after-work drinks (1855 and UE Straits Wine): Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of red cherries, plums, and some vanilla oak. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, medium+ alcohol, high tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of red cherries, plums, chocolate, and some spice. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. Can drink now, and has potential for further ageing. -

February 9, 2014 - Medium ruby. Ultra-clean nose with remarkable Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) typicity. Red berries, sweet spices and red cherry notes. Medium-bodied with silky tannins, freshness, balancing acidity and medium aftertaste. A very well-made, easy drinking wine to pair with almost any dish.
