February 24, 2024 - Double decanted with slow-ox after 30 minutes in the decanter. Medium weight (light for Amarone), which is actually a style I like in Amarone; it doesn’t overwhelm with a raisiny, over-ripeness. Good fruit, big tannins submerged beneath. Decent balance. Didn’t experience any decline in this bottle over the evening. 90-91

November 24, 2023 - Wonderful for the majority of the bottle, but then a very marked falling-off, the aroma & taste muting rapidly—a real disappointment. At its zenith, 96, but factoring in the deterioration, 91+.
