September 2, 2019 - still a little rough, but it will wake up and rise

August 24, 2019 - A superb value at the $12 I paid. Delicious just pop and poured. Amazingly durable when subsequently tasted after being refrigerated for over a week. Impressive balance of fruit/acid/tannin. One of the best wines with food, especially with meat balls.

May 5, 2019 - Ranked 1st at a tasting of so-so wines for CopperPenny with Miriam. Best among an uninspired group.

April 20, 2019 - This has shown exactly how my tastes have changed. I guess this is technically over the hill, but as one Maryland based wine critic called it a "$15 Cote-Rotie of the South" you'd think it would evolve. It hasn't. Sappy, concentrated dark fruit and lacking acid. Me 8 years ago would have probably loved this.

March 26, 2019 - Largely consistent with '17 note, though perhaps a bit meatier and more savory. Agree with the mourvedre showing through comment. What a value at $11 sale price; just make sure to age them a bit. That said, this is probably at, or maybe just past, peak and I'd probably drink up (if I had any more) over the next couple of years.
