March 23, 2024 - OMG.....what an extra four years in the bottle does. This is singing....

    Purple-ox blood composition of color
Oaky, herbaceous, dark fruit nose. Jammy.
Unctuous, nice mouth feel. Like velvet. More oak notes coupled with herbaceous and meaty notes. Perfectly balanced. Won't get better than this. Drink now or hold two years. Just beautiful.

    Porchetta for dinner

    #UltraMiami is blasting

February 20, 2024 - Brought to Redd for dinner. Last bottle of the '10 and it was excellent. Such a beautiful balance of fruit and acidity and some herbal notes. Drinking really well now but should still have at least a good couple of years of life if stored well.

November 18, 2023 - Singing right now. Decanted for 30 mins and was ready to go. Tuscany meets Bordeaux.

November 5, 2023 - Opaque dark ruby with a garnet rim. Sour cherries, blackberries with a strong herbal component, reminding me of sage. Full body, with the same fruit and herbal character , with the addition of lead pencil, leather and graphite, with a medium+ to long finish. This drinks very well right now.

September 27, 2023 - Brought to Fiorella. This drank extremely well, best of the bottles so far. Beautiful balance and I think drinking at peak now. Tannins are largely resolved; drink my last one in the next year.
