February 26, 2020 - Definite step-up to the regular bottling. Still a bit on the young side. There's an attempt at finesse here but 100% Mourvedre just not usually my cup of tea. Some potential for improvement with more bottle age.

August 8, 2017 - Aroma: flint, menthol and rose.
Palate: creamy mid weight flavors of red berries, lavender, leather and wood spice. Rather drying tannins. Hold or drink with food.

April 28, 2016 - Decanted and poured, this bottle gave an excellent to outstanding showing. The bouquet shows youthful, detailed dark fruits with stone, dried herb, spice and tar notes. The aromatics are expressive and nuances with mostly youthful notes and some very subtle underlying maturing elements. The color is a dark ruby to purple and almost black. The full bodied palate shows outstanding balance with youthful fruit and firm structure. The wine gives a lengthy finish with well integrated tannins. Overall this wine is youthful, structured and detailed. It leaves the impression that it may benefit from additional bottle and should continue to drink well for a long time.

May 2, 2014 - Extremely powerful, backward wine, has the right stuff but almost totally unreadable right now.

January 11, 2014 - Young Tempier-White, Rose, and Red (SF Wine Trading Company): Incredible depth of color. Fantastic combination of deep, perfumed ripe fruit and a backbone of tar, tannin, and coffee. Big and incredibly complex at this tender age. A wow wine with limitless potential. Enormously impressive and its approachability now is a complete testament to its impeccable balance.
