December 4, 2009 - Holding pretty strong for an 02. A familiar nose of mint, cassis and currents. On the palate the oak was still evident but not intrusive. A nice balance of blue and black fruit mingled w/the coco, mint accents. Went very well with beef tenderloins in a demi glaze sauce.

September 25, 2009 - Very pleasant, rich nose of dried cherries. Balanced taste with long finish. Great the first night, but lost all fruit in 24 hours. Still, decant and drink all at one sitting and this is at its peak.
