November 5, 2022 - The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): Nice contrast to the Champagne before it. Red berries tossed with citrus and pear. Hints of toast and minerals, but it's all about the fruit. Drink up.

October 11, 2018 - Drank at my 71st birthday. Second sparkle of evening. First was a Nicol Vineyards BC Brut with high acidity. The California wine felt much softer, no sharp edges. Went well with Caesar Salad. Nice, appealing strawberry fruit.

December 26, 2016 - Tasty but would definitely be better with additional bottle aging. Wish I would have held it longer to develop more creamy texture.
