April 2, 2024 - Dense clear ruby black
Ripe but manageable black cherry and dark currant aromas and flavors.
Nice balance and mouth watering acidity.

December 3, 2023 - Wonderful nose of forest and a palate that had beautiful dark black and faint blue fruit profile. I got blackberry, crème de cassis, and a hint of blueberry. This thing vanished in an instant at a wine locker Christmas party. Several people felt it was the best wine there. Outstanding wine and sadly my last bottle of this vintage. Next Outpost I have is from 2019 so I will have to wait on those. Need to buy more of these on the secondary market with a little age.

October 21, 2023 - Opened this bottle to watch the Iowa vs Minnesota game. Fortunately the wine was better than the game’s results. With regards to the wine, it is nearing its peak. If not, add it. Think it’s time to drink up if you have it in your cellars. It could be just this bottle. I have 3 more to find out. Stay tuned.
