May 19, 2022 - We had a belated Mother's day celebration and I brought a magnum of Faust for dinner. I opened my bottle three hours before dinner and served it with Rib Eye Steaks, French Fried Potato's, and Broccoli di Rape. My first impression was that the Faust was surprisingly youthful. It was a typical California Cabernet that had hints of leather and tobacco. The consensus was that the wine was very good, but not the best Cabernet that we have tasted.

January 5, 2022 - Nice food wine but not rich like you’d expect from most Napa vintages. 2011 was a tough year and they managed an acceptable product. Drink up if you have any left.

November 14, 2020 - Before tonight, I had never tasted Faust, and I couldn't find much on the 2011 Cabernet vintage.
I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary blend of fruit, spice and pepper on the nose, plums and grape skins on the palate, and a medium lingering spicy and pepper finish that leaves me wanting more.
After tonight, I will be on the lookout for Faust to store in the cellar.1 person found this helpful Comment -
