February 27, 2021 - Really impressive nose of plum and perfume. Palate was smooth and balanced. Nice acid, but not too much, wine finished average. Nice bottle to open the evening.

March 6, 2019 - Smooth and seamless and a perfect pairing for veal scaloppine with truffle butter and a risotto with radicchio at Osteria Fasulo in Davis, CA. We had this decanted before dinner at the restaurant and did not see the cork, but I have feeling Matteo would have let us know if there was any serious seepage. There was no smell or taste of the wine being corked.

September 11, 2018 - I was hoping for more from this. Tannin is still over powering, fruit is muted, just sort of dirty ash tray is the best I can describe this....a real bummer because I can’t see this improving and I have more of this. As others noted i had seeping about 75% up the cork.
