February 25, 2024 - Ripe red fruits and plenty of spice. This has a lovely, long warm finish.

  • Gone with the wine Likes this wine: 92 points

September 20, 2023 - Raspberry and black cherry, menthol, toasted vanilla, coconut and clove. Fruit is fading so drink up.

  • dbay Likes this wine: 89 points

September 15, 2023 - Medium garnet. Nose of vanilla, dark chocolate, black and red cherry, a little bit of barnyard . On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, medium plus body and medium plus grainy tannins. The flavors are of medium plus intensity and include vanilla, dark chocolate, black and red cherry, black plum, a little bit of barnyard. The finish is dominated by the oak. Overall a nice wine but the oak dominates the palate and finish

July 22, 2023 - Oaky Ribera: clove, black currant, vanilla, blackberry, leather, black fruit, medium plus body, tad too oaky for me.

  • bacchus of knockholt Likes this wine: 92 points

March 24, 2023 - Relatively pale ruby with a nose of dark, bitter chocolate, desiccated coconut, black and red cherry, a little bit of barnyard in the background. The palate has immediate warmth of red fruits with a savoury, umami tangy note on the mid palate and with a ground black pepper and spicy finish. Glorious, with totally melded tannins on a very long finish.
