August 13, 2016 - On the downturn, some bricking. Nice earthy, woodsy nose, but the fruit is somewhat lacking - some tart cherry, but not much else there.

November 28, 2014 - Fruit fading a little, revealing more earth, which is nice. I wish the finish was longer so I could enjoy it a bit more. A reasonable QPR still.

September 28, 2014 - Wonderful woodsy smell, spices and casis. Very nice if accompanied with grilled chicken and roasted vegetables.

March 19, 2014 - Somewhat flat and bland with some red cherry and decent acidity. This could use more fruit and/or body.

March 13, 2014 - WSET Foundation - Evening 2 (WSET School London): Not a lot going on with this one, a bit simple. Clean, dry & light-bodied. Red cherry & strawberry on the nose, with red currant, strawberry, cherry and a little wet earth on the palate. High acidity, almost no tannin.

February 18, 2014 - Light body. Simple wine. Good with food. A bit austere.

December 16, 2013 - A nice pinot for the money. Light on the palate with bright and tart cherry. A little bit of earth to remind you it's French. Goes great with food, but a little too bright to drink on its own.

November 16, 2013 - The acidity is very prevalent, however it would stand up well to various foods and should be served with such. That said, constrained fruit and light body make it a nice example of burgundy for under 15 dollars. Serve chilled and with a savory dish.
