October 3, 2018 - Somewhat disappointing. This wine while having loads of stuffing and theoretical potential is overwrought with stewed black cherry flavors that have almost a candied sweetness to them. The wine has structure and is relatively full bodied and flavorful but lacks balance as well. It actually has quite a bit more life ahead of it but I dont see this issues resolving themselves with time.

July 15, 2017 - Pop and pour. Similar to the regular bottling but more refined and higher acid. On the heavier/ripe side of Pinot with expected flavors of raspberry syrup, cola, cool minerality, smoke, and baking spice. Can hold for several more years but could potentially turn overly syrupy.

October 27, 2016 - This is a big, ripe Pinot with delicious cherry & black fruits. Did not get any of the alcohol vibe as referenced by previous reviewers. Consumed 2 of these in past week with 2 different groups of people who love wine and they loved this. Very glad I have 4 left!

April 24, 2016 - Big ripe pinot that was bit rich and rupe even for my new world tastes. Disappointed for $100 bottle. Alcohol came through a bit as well. Good fruit and some smoke but not a whole lot else going on.
