January 22, 2024 - Surprised to see this was a screwcap German Riesling. Maybe I'm behind the times. This was delicious. Very unctuous (RP term) for a Kabinett. Big body, citrus but peach also. Drinking well and may get better still.

November 26, 2022 - Decanted for 1h then back into bottle. Now 3h after decant. Lovely aromas of mild petrol ,tart and ripe apples, just ripe pineapples, herbs, line and minerals. Palate w gala apples, just ripe pineapples, herbs, nice minerals. Medium body w excellent acids. Sensation of mild tannins. Excellent concentration and depth. This is complex and delicious.

October 7, 2022 - this was a much better showing than a bottle a few years ago. The sweetness has subsided further, there's just a hint of petrol, and plenty of mouthwatering, lemony acidity. The term 'playful' is a bit trite and vague, but it is descriptive of this bottle.

March 6, 2022 - Yellow orchard fruits and minerals in equal proportion with a firm acidic backbone. Very lightly sweet, could pass as a feinherb. Good concentration. Drinks younger than its age, shouid easily last for another decade, and likely two.

June 12, 2021 - Two+ years since my last bottle, and this is now in the zone. Still very bright and fresh, it also has an underlying touch of creaminess. The fruit is yellow and green, and the minerality turns electric on the finish. Lots of stuffing left, so drink now, and over the next 20+ years.

May 18, 2021 - The wine has apple, peach, lime, and lots of minerality such as slate. It has a light to medium sweetness balanced by the acidity.

March 1, 2021 - The wine is slightly sweet, spot on for a Kabinett, with lime, slate, minerality and good acidity to balance it out.

April 13, 2019 - this seemed to be drinking ok. Maybe a bit tight. the sweetness has subsided from the smack you in the face variety to that stage where you notice if it you look for it. It's clearly sweet, but it doesn't proclaim it. mediumish finish. Presently a bit shy in the mid palate

February 20, 2019 - I had a bottle two months ago, and I thought things were opening up. This bottle was shut down hard. The material is clearly there, but it did not express itself over several hours. I left the rest to try again in 24 hours.
