July 22, 2023 - Consistent with prior note. Nose of ripe fruit- cherries, strawberries and maybe even cassis or blueberries. Licorice as well. On the palate, classic juicy, fruit/forward ganas profile, although a bit thinner on the palate than I remembered. This started to decline after an hour or so in the glass, so I’m thinking this doesn’t have many prime drinking years left. Drink up!

December 25, 2020 - Hazy with what appeared to be suspended sediment. Nose of cherry, other red fruit and pepper. Medium body, medium acidity, soft tannins. Absolutely beautiful with heavily sauced and spicy Chinese food. Came back to my glass over an hour after initially pouring and it had only improved. Lovely.

April 27, 2019 - Jesper going-away party (Peter's): a little natty at first - lambic cherry, peanut butter. But it blows off and there’s some lovely cherry with wet leaves. A little development. Feels like slight VA. Slight savory tamari. Dried leaves and dried flowers.

Medium bodied. Med plus acid. Soft low tannins. Slight balsamic notes. Complex. Slight pepper. Long. Beautiful.

    Slightly singed. Evolving. Slight Brett.

March 14, 2019 - Definitely cloudy, hazy red. This is definitely slightly flawed, but not undrinkably so. The nose showed cherries with iron ore...a musky perfume, but a weird unclean air pervades.. On the palate, excellent acidity, and good cherry on a surprisingly dense but strange.

January 21, 2018 - Pours a cloudy, hazy red. Somewhat edgy, like va at first, but it quickly dissipates. Brigh, razor edge red fruit, cranberry, sour cherry, and earth tones. With air, the nose picks up tertiary scents of fall and wet leaves. Softens and rounds off even more with air and become quite lovely. No regrets here. Drinking great.
