October 15, 2021 - Back to the auctions (Bar Bould Sud): Some darker, almost cassis notes. It's dried fruit and maybe a bit of potpourri. Drinking really nicely. Tasty.

May 24, 2021 - Tasted blind. Beautiful nose of red cherries, menthol, and lots of depth while at the same time being quite delicate (in a good way). Excellent balance on the palate with flavors of red berries, good acidity and structure. Very long finish. Awesome wine, this even got better with air in the glass. 95-96, erring on the high side here.

November 26, 2020 - Had with Thanksgiving dinner. This was a fabulous bottle! Rich, pure, complex and fresh. So much better than the last bottle I tried a year ago. I'm going to drink my last 4 bottles soon in the hope they might be this good!!

October 10, 2020 - The Last Dance Magnum Dinner (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Magnum. Certainly slightly past its peak and maybe a little dirtier than I'd prefer (even from Beaucastel), but still so layered and enjoyable.
