February 18, 2023 - Last of my 3 bottles First night seemed a bit past its prime. Day two the color was more vibrant, the wine smoother. The fruit more beautiful and forward I thought it would be the other way around on an older wine.
Not sure if they did any more of these projects but enjoyed them quite immensely -

April 11, 2021 - Ruby red color. Dark and rich looking
Bouquet muted and short but floral
Fruit forward with a back palate spice. Thought would be past prime but was surprisingly flavorful with a sophisticated finish. Enjoyed first glass on its own, the rest was with Greek salad and pizza. Made the pizza that much better! I have two more bottles that I thought I would have to rush to, but this made me feel I have a little bit of time and will look forward to enjoying them! -

April 1, 2017 - Just alright. It definitely taste like españa, Tempranillo and probably a few other varietals. Beginning to soften both tannins and the color. Still some tobacco and leather notes. Give it 30 minutes of air to unwind.

February 10, 2017 - Needs an hour or so of air. Blackberries, smoke, new leather, earth, and herbs on the nose. Blackberries, blueberries, a little cranberry, earth, herbs, and some barrel notes on the palate. Okay acidity (could use more), decent structure, pleasant finish. This was a good wine (after it got some air), though I can't really say that it seemed like a Spanish wine.
