May 14, 2022 - Has held up very well to time. Looks like it’s about 10 years old, not 26. Retains done fruit but loads of interesting secondary and tertiary flavors. Very well made.

April 18, 2015 - cork was a little dry and got stuck while opening. Strained and decanted. Deep and dark in color. Fruit remains which is surprising since the consensus is drink by 2010. No tannin but still very enjoyable. Celebrating our sons 19th B-day : born in 96!!

December 4, 2007 - A solid Washington cab, and a good effort for the vintage. Slightly astringent tannins and a clipped finish detract, but this has good fruit and a surprisingly lush, complex nose. Not in any danger of going over the hill, but I don't think it's going to get any better.

December 25, 2006 - Wow. I couldn't be happier and more pleasantly surprised. I opened a magnum of this for Christmas dinner with a smoked prime rib. This wine was still fresh and delicious. It was still dark red in color and showed strong legs in the glass. The wine opened up quickly without decanting and soon showed a very balanced fruit and medium tannin palate. It still showed Washington sweet fruit characteristics but had enough tannins and earth flavors to go very well with food. I don't know how the regular size bottles are devloping but this magnum had a few years left in it. However, why wait - its great now.

October 19, 2004 - Nice spicebox nose with bright red fruit on the front of the palette widens into a bit of an acidic bite and finishes with noticable fine tannins. Moderately long finish. Pretty enjoyable, tannins will continue to resolve, I think the fruit will hang on. Try again end of 2005.
