July 7, 2017 - Wowee! Dug this out of the back of the cellar, and not expecting much. Smokey and delicious. Great nose, and wonderful on the palate.

March 10, 2016 - This is still drinking well. A lovely claret w/ dark & red fruit, leans toward cab. Tannins quite mild now, but still has structure & good acidity.

January 5, 2015 - Full-bodied wine, quite similar to a french bordeaux with a solid flavor of oak. Rich dark color, sweet fruit on the pallet, a hint of vanilla and a nice long dry finish. The CT range ends 2014, but I think this wine could live on for several more years. I wish I had a dozen more.
    Wonderful!

October 18, 2014 - Really strong South African Cab blend. Big, ripe fruits. Drinking great right now. While might have some more left wouldn't hesitate to pop right now. Enjoy!

    May 3, 2014 - Big earthy nose.
This was a big wine. Although the tannins were pretty tame, this is still in the prime of life and I think will last another decade.
Leather and tobacco with dark fruit still standing tall. Long finish with a lot going on. (didn't take any notes at the restaurant).

December 2, 2012 - Drinking well right now. Bouquet was phenomenal. Rich and big. Palate struggled to match but was not disappointing. Nice expression of South African cabernet sauvignon.

March 2, 2010 - Great wine, but I would drink SOON. CT/WS say drinking window is 2011-2018, but I don't know if it will last that long (depending on storage). This bottle wasn't quite as good as my previous ones, but I still enjoyed it none the less.

January 5, 2010 - An aristocratic nose of dark fruits, cassis, and an inky, mineral perfume. The wine just grabs your attention and shows off it's stuff on the palate - silky, balanced and just totally on point. Have many years of life ahead - one of the best wines (if not the best) I had in 2009.
