August 31, 2023 - Received a partial bottle to try from my oenophile neighbor
    13.4% abv

Had a sip. Semi-translucent Ruby red in the glass. Cherry aroma on the nose with pepper. Cherry & some cola on the palate, along with some spice. Siliky smooth with subdued tannins and acidity. Nice lingering finish. Exquisite, elegant wine, but probably nearing the end of it's drinking window. If I had any more lurking around in my cellar I'd be drinking-up.

December 21, 2022 - Last bottle of this wine, drank it about 3.5 yrs ago.
The wine is very well made, the mountain fruit is dark and almost-ripe, in the best way.
Spicebox, a hint of sweet tobacco, forest floor notes.
The finish is persistent, with dark fruit and spices, and refreshing acidity. Very light tannins after 11 yrs. Drink up, very nice.

November 4, 2022 - Served blind, and Lars was completely gone her; he was guessing Southern Rhône, but AD guessed Burgundy - much closer. The wine is light, elegant, shows some spice - and plenty of light Pinot-fruit. Drinking a point, IMHO

July 7, 2021 - Our sixth over six years — and 3.5 since the prior: Medium dark ruby. Suggestions of dark cherries. This has evolved beautifully. Savory, very nicely integrated, with bright acid backbone. Very enjoyable over three nights. We have have one more, and will wait a few years.

June 18, 2021 - Drinking really well, no hard edges, long and pure. Impressive for such a cold, wet year. Perhaps my favorite bottle from this producer.
