March 13, 2024 - Stunning wine. Very fresh nose with oystershell and yellow orchard fruit. Palate shows intense minerality and length. Overall terrific. More complete and better than many “grands cru”.

This was served with a braised chicken dish with a lemon-walnut-parsley pesto, which really brought out the best aspects of the wine. A good pairing, resulting in one of those elusive Burgundy experiences that knocks it out of the park.

August 27, 2023 - Don’t get to drink much Raveneau, so excited to open this. Certainly didn’t disappoint.
Salty and oyster shell on the palate. Also orchard fruits.
I didn’t pick up the richness and texture I usually associate with Raveneau but that doesn’t take away from the enjoyment. Very refined and elegant. Delicious.

August 14, 2023 - Bruised apple, slight bitter tropical fruit, hint of baking spice, darker than the first 2. This didn't live up to the name and was lackluster. Bottle variation? Tied for #6/13 with the Billaud Clos. DD, Capital Seafood BH

July 27, 2023 - Starts out a bit austere and phenolic but with air finds brightness and a pretty orchard fruit profile. More classic Chablis than classic Raveneau but fine enough.

April 23, 2022 - Nice but I’ll hold the last for another 3-5 years
