December 19, 2018 - At Melograno. Love the screwcap! Delicious chablis, minimal oak, balanced citrus, some minerality and creaminess. My impression is very much in line with the previous CT reviewers. Very classy with my meatball appetizer.

June 22, 2017 - Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): Very ripe citrus fruit, honey and mineral. Excellent concentration, dense, deeply toned, bright acidity and a long ripe yellow fruit driven finish. It is a very focused but ripe Chablis that is clearly expressing the vintage character.

September 13, 2016 - Screwcap (score!) Very subdued lemon pith aromas. Creamy lemon flavours. Good depth. Low astringency. Oak, lemon and a touch of butterscotch development (much more than Raveneau.)

October 20, 2015 - Wine and Spirits Top 100 tasting - 2015 (The Metreon, SF): Lean, not a lot of oak influence on the nose. Citrus-driven and steely. There’s some weight in the mouth - “broadens out in the back-palate” as people have said about chardonnay. On the palate, there’s a pronounced kiss of new oak or some partially-used barrels- not full-blown new oak treatment, but enough to be consistent with a Grand Cru - it’s working well for me. High acid, mostly strong tartaric (malo influenced). Slight leesiness on the nose, with a veneer of oak. Persistent and high-acid. Lovely style.

Fermentation: 3 weeks (50% stainless steel, 50% French oak)
    100% malolactic
Aging: 6 months (50% stainless steel, 50% French oak)

    Score: Between 9 and 9.5

July 10, 2015 - The bouquet was broad yet still restrained, filling the senses with notes of young peach, citrus, minerals and herbal tones. On the palate, it displayed taught, acid driven textures with flavors of ripe apple, lime and lingering mineral tones, which lasted well into the finish. The 2012 Les Clos was youthful and tight but also beautifully balanced.
