October 4, 2017 - Quite disappointing. Acid and oak standing out, and pretty flat otherwise. Surely a bad bottle?

June 26, 2017 - wow, this was so much more high and tight / linear than some recent bottles of WF Preuses '08/'10/'12 that we have drunk, loved it and in fact it might have garnered one more point but it was -- thank goodness

April 1, 2017 - This starts out crisp, but gains body and mellows out with a few minutes in the glass or a decanter. Smooth and rich, showing apple and citrus along with vanilla and a suggestion of pears. Richer and rounder than previous bottles, the oak is now a prominent but harmonious element. Delicious now.

January 1, 2017 - Classic Chablis. Crisp apples from the tree, fresh with a clean cut, a hint of grapefruit, medium bodied, pure and delicious

December 18, 2016 - Popped, poured, consumed over next 90 minutes. Interestingly, this has put on quite a bit of weight since my last tasting a few years ago and I'm tasting a fair amount of toasty oak, which I have not experienced to this level in other vintages. Still a tasty glass of Chardonnay, but a little more New World and less like classic Chablis. I'm hoping the oak will integrate. Seems to have the material to age.
